For the socioeconomic factors thing, we know that people, regardless of race, score worse on IQ tests under certain circumstances. And that people in the same family score higher on IQ tests when brought out of those circumstances.
This is proven, race realism when it comes to IQ is not. That's why people want to give minorities a better environment. Science is on the side of one approach, it isn't on the side of the race-realist-ethno-statist approach.
