I am a chemistry major and I genuinely fear for my future. I just hope i don't end up eating rats under a bridge by 2030.
I can't find any internships. I currently work as a pizza driver. I might be doomed to work food service, and food service is really miserable. In food service it's really easy to make mistakes, and the mistakes are high-stakes because they're made in the heat of the moment during a rush, and the customer sees them before you can correct them. And the boss yells at you for every mistake, even if it's a one-time mistake you'll never make again.
