Cars aren't that complicated when it comes down to it, but the companies that make them (encouraged by government who seems fixated on forcing you to make and spend as much money as possible (consumerism)) do all kinds of tricky things to make them unnecessarily expensive to buy and unnecessarily difficult to repair.

But you should get a used car. Get a good tool set with ratchets and screw drivers. And just figure out how to repair stuff when it breaks. internet diy vids are pretty good for that (though I wouldn't be surprised if (((car companies))) are push hard to have them shut down even as I speak).

also. don't bother with european made cars. they're a ridiculously expensive status symbol and they're made so that you cant even fix them without special tools that only the car company makes. Why people tolerate that kind of shit is beyond me...

i dont mind the older vw's. its just the newer bmws and audis that have gone bad, and of course the italian luxury cars are ridiculous.
just search youtube for your car model and whatever the problem is you want to fix

I'd buy mechanic books, get an actual car and repair it. Then if you want to go more into the theory buy books on internal combustion engines, superchargers etc
