Is Vsauce considered popsci? He gets into some pretty complex science and math subjects.

Why should I feel bad about watching his content?

Honestly those vids are like Wikipedia. They are alright to watch but don't be that dunt that pretends to understand much about the topic except for the basic concept if you watch one or two god I love science vids.
Also I Wouldn't be surprised if some people just watched it because its a tad Nerdy and that's what is in these days, similar to the whole nerd aesthetics that are still growing more popular by the day

Had them in my YT recommendations all the time years ago, then decided to watch one of their videos where I have some background, and it was complete garbage.
Immediately put them on "Don't Recommend".
Popsci is completely fine, say, PBS SpaceTime, but Vsauce is garbage.

I think vsauce is pop sci since it has millions of views. But that shouldn't matter.
The content is always more important than what people think. If you feel you gain something there is value.
I think people get mad because there may be people who use pop sci as an endpoint.

Vsauce is insufferable, though his imitating twinks are even worse.
But yes vsauce is insufferable, his context is not "deep" or "complex", and having watched a video leaves one (me, at any rate) with a feeling of dissatisfaction from watching dilluted content instead of some first-hand information.
