I may be misunderstanding you. At the end of the chapters does your book have exercises for you to do?

I bought an online version off vital source so I just want to make sure they didn't jew me without practice problems in the online version to avoid copyright

You should have borrowed one at the library before buying, and scanned the fuck out of the chapters you really need.
I really needed this book for my final project and that is what I did.
R&N is a bit incomplete for my tastes. I'd have expected at least an intro on NN.

Yea, my father is a big shot at a community college (oxyMORON?) and he runs a cult(club) with the professors, who each get to benefit from funds on a required text(after a year of service/dues).

We are obviously arguing if you have to buy a textbook physical vs online version. The fact free online versions exist don't weigh in on this discussion

Online textbooks are easier to carry around, especially if you have 4+ classes, they are cheaper, and you can have the book open in 2 windows to look at 2 pages (exercises and then the text)
