>>12140884>Real science is too boring, scientists have to get these wild and nonreasonable ideas. This is the problem I have with Science, how do you guys derive pleasure from it. The physics boils down to the boring functionality of: Pushing a rock, makes it move.
I find myself seeking a more playful way of looking at things as to give my environment more potential to be interesting. It's not like I can whip up a hadron collider to experiment with, or get access to impressive engineering of a Ferrari and a race track to go ride on.
I feel lost. Ooga boogas have football to watch, women have sterile topics to discuss, gaymurs have games to play, as for pure scientists how do you derive pleasure from what is, bare bones obvious, like with the rock pushing analogy.
I fear to live by common people cookie cutter models and to push myself to eat, shit, sleep repeat. I have a desire to live in the fast lane but also a longing to have depth and meaning, which I can only derive by learning new things, which is not exactly the fast lane.
TL:DR; So from my stand point, I'm not having you guys purely derive pleasure from reading what Mr Todd the scientist wrote in his book. So how do you do it?
And yes I have managed to render myself totally confused.
