Well, since relativity, but optimum theory proves that relatively was essentially correct but not very ground breaking, it simply solidified some concepts that were already commonly discussed, indiscreteness, universal speed limit, energy = matter...

Now evolution was a true revolution of thought and so too is optimum theory. It's not a step like relativity was, evolution and optimum theory are like flipping over the table and lighting it on fire.

Correct. Energymatter is a real-number magnitute. But very important: it's all relative, i.e. Einstein. The grid is indiscrete... you can, in theory, keep zooming into it. So each magnitude is relative to its local values. And that's pretty much all there is to it. The values average, and you can zoom in or out forever. That's our Universe.

It gets confined by particles of opposite charge. The numbers are not real, only relativity is real. And yes, they become confined when the system is propagated with a zoo of values. The arrows help illustrate the system, similar to how your eyes help you illustrate the Universe, etc... i am not taking the absolute value, positive and negative numbers are vital. Ideally the system would be based on unit circles, but yes it is very simple. So is evolution; when I was growing up there was a word for this, "elegance".

Understood. The "change layer" should not be absolute, if so then that's a mistake on my part. I have not watched the video in a while. The change layer bifercates, it splits... maybe one of the splits is an absolute layer. I cannot recall.

No matter the programming language the core algorithm is to average the local real-number values (usually populated through a random number generator), subtract subsequent time steps, and then point based on the greatest change.

There should be an equal number of positive and negative values. Ideally they sum to zero. If its only positive (or negative) then they disperse away i.e. second law of thermo... but the universe is not an absolute number system like temperature. It is real-numbers.

It is generally agreed that the Universe sums to zero. That's not me just making that up. Neil Degrasse Tyson and others have spoken at length about it.

The arrows are just decoration in the way that sound is a decoration. I mean, all that really exists is pulsing air but your brain gives meaning to that to help you understand. The arrows are directly representative of the underlying realnumber data. They are the electromagnetic field lines.

Very well observed. The automaton is a tool. It is not actual reality. In theory the most perfect automaton would be comprised of a unit circle averaging around each point of calculation.

The automaton gains and loses energy because of the added random values, but this is just a convention since we are meaning to simulate an infinite, not a closed, system. Other than that the automaton will always gain and lose a bit anyway because the computations are impossible... too many irrational numbers. Fortunately for God his computer is infinite, but no such luck for mankind.

That was one of the interesting things that came out of this project. Averaging number groups like this, even with whole numbers... the calculations rapidly get... intense... to out it mildly... specifically they rapidly become impossible.

So the computer does a lot of rounding. It only calculates to the 10th decimal, or whatever we specify.

The thought is that scale is a dimension. So when we average with the surrounding cells we are averaging with the dimension up... so we should also average with the dimention inward.

Correct... I have never seen imaginary numbers in the automaton... that could be interesting to insert them...

The calculations don't just grow exponentially they become possible almost immediately. The fractions are just impossible. We can only round them. It was unexpected for me. I did not think such simple averages would be, essentially, impossible... one of many mind blowing realizations while building the automaton.

It's like 1/3 = 0.333... but other fractions are not so clean... and then you begin compounding them and all of a sudden you are working with all kinds of fractions that cannot be cleanly averaged.

Think about what we are actually trying to do with the automaton. We are trying to represent the "mixing" of an infinite field medium. Infinite. So not just outward but also inward. That was the thought at the time. The most recent version of the automaton does not add like that, we have simply been considering the random number inserted each time step to be the "inner dimention".

Sort of, yes. And I recall Elon Musk saying something to that extent as well. However the ball will never stay balanced for long, i.e. Optimum Theory. That's where the name comes from "optimization". Someone mentioned me podcasting with Lex, and that would be brilliant since Optimum Theory covers so many of the unresolved questions from his recent Joe Rogan podcast such as "why does the Universe keep optimizing?". Optimum Theory specifically addresses this.

Agreed :-) I am usually timid about telling older people that the theory of everything was peer review via "the dark web", but I think Lex with immediately understand, and that this sort of thing will become more common (if not the standard) at some point in the future. It's definitely an important part of the story! I appreciate you reaching out to Lex! A podcast would be groundbreaking. I was a high school teacher STEM teacher so it's not like this was totally out of nowhere, but still, just the idea that a relative "nobody" can do something like this should be a big deal, and I truly believe represents a very important universality in science: science is for everyone, not just ivy wall elites. Also important to understand, I tried approaching "the scientific elites" with this idea before the automaton was built, they utterly rejected it on principle (I was not "one of them") and essentially blacklisted me. Without Anon, physics would not have been unified.

Thank you! I will send you an email soon with an unfalsafiable way to verify it is me which I will not reveal here, but you will know! This podcast episode will go down in history if we can make it happen. I will 100% give Anon a shout out and rep for the power of the decentralized hivemind, and if you have watched the complete Optimum Theory then you'll know that Lex and I will have MUCH to talk about as the theory uses the automaton as a jump off point for exploring artifical intelligence and so much more, including "laws of upload - biological immortality" which are essentially Optimum Theory's version of Asimov's Laws of Robitics. It's exciting stuff and will make for a blockbuster episode!
