They are now (more like they pretend to be) hardcore religious people, Christians or Pagans, because they believe they're opposing the "left" or the "SJWs" who they perceive to be non-religious. The irony is that the SJW and the left, including the right, including any extreme political group, are ALL religious, they're inhabiting the religious tradition in terms of its behaviour/effects. The /pol/tard is as religious as the SJW.
