Best way to consume 300+ page dense technical book in shortest amount of time?

Having my last exam, pathology. How would i/you go about learning 300+ pages, and remembering everything in 10 days?

Don't go in order, skip parts, read whatever you can easily and come back. Basically skimming.

I've had that in mind as to get my mind prepped for what is to come. To find out my strengths and weaknesses (what i know vs what i do not)

But the problem is it will be an oral exam, and from 300pgs, there is a random chance ill get Endometrial polyp or Hydronephrosis or Dermatitis seborrheica etc etc etc,and i need to answer everything about it. For this feynman technique works great but its slow and i will lack time to go over the whole book.

Start with the themes you know least and end with those you feel more confident. 10 days are good enough if you know what to skip

Ive always divided my work by the number of days (works well for exams) with minor tweaking, doing an equal amount of work each day. 12 hour days seem to be the limit with me as after that my i end up taking 2 hours to do something that should really take 30 minutes. I think everyone has their own tweaks and if you can figure out how the best way to maximize your efficiency it really scales for bigger workloads.

Anki is really something you should use when you have more than 10 fucking days.

OP, surely you have some idea of the exam material? Ask people in your class if they have any condensed notes and start there. Consult the textbook when you can't follow the condensed notes. Add to the notes.
If nobody has notes like that, read the book in its entirety making sure to really think about what your reading. If you have any time left at all, start summarising chapters
