>>12135591This is all very speculative, so bear with me. Let’s imagine that in the beginning there was no matter, no energy, no time and space, and all that existed was primordial logic. You can take all matter out of the universe and “A=A” still holds true. Tautologies still work. And I’d argue that all of math is tautological since all equations are just ways of rewriting “A=A”. So maybe you can get rid of time and space, but you can’t get rid of math. If all of math and logic is real, that means all mathematical structures must exist, including those that describe our reality. “God” can be viewed as the omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent force that renders mathematical forms into reality, the primordial Logos. Consciousness and God are the same thing. Photons have no physical form, they are just mathematical constructs. When your eye senses photons, it transforms the pure mathematical data of the photons into visual qualia, and thereby renders it into physical existence. The physical world is just an interface for our minds to interact with reality, it’s an intermediary between the objective and subjective worlds.
Where did all the matter come from? If there was an initial creation of matter, doesn’t that violate thermodynamics? If the world is a simulation, who created the simulator? You need an uncaused cause at the root of all existence, or else you can’t have reality. Perhaps God is the uncaused cause. A skeptic might ask, well who created God? God is primordial logos, which creates itself and can’t do otherwise than to exist. For God to not exist, “A=A” would have to be false, and mathematics would have to be false.
