Any experienced chemists want to share their secrets for a good elephants toothpaste reaction? My current setup is a s follows:
>36% peroxide
>Dish soap and colouring
>Saturated potassium iodide solution
I end up getting a decent amount of foam but it's not as fast and flying up into the air like I see in other demos. I've used a variety of nozzle widths and still get the same result.
Is the main issue the peroxide? Do I just need to go stronger concentration? Is their a better catalyst?
