Lol sure. Why would I study medicine when I could study a pure field like mathematics? Medicine is a big virtue signalling circle jerk of chads and unintelligent females who think they’re saving the word. Newsflash: none of it would be possible without maths. I easily could’ve became a medical doctor but that would have been the easy (and useless) route. I will positively affect the world far more by working in mathematics.

As Math undergrad I think pursuing post graduate studies in Math itself is crazy. Mathematical Analysis is already stretching it, too abstract to be used in a job.
But the applied part is cool, numerical analysis, linear and non linear programming, modeling interdisciplinary problems, etc. They are things you can talk about to normal people and other science students.
