Honest question, not trolling.

For ever homo sapiens ever born, about 1 in 15 are still alive today. To say everybody is mortal is to disregard nearly 7% of all cases, simply because they contradict your theory.

HOW IS THAT NOT CONSIDERED FUDGING YOUR DATA TO FIT YOUR HYPOTHESIS?

yeah there's a bunch of implicit assumptions underlying empirical reality that nobody ever serious contests because we have to get work done and nobody wants to defend an obviously (but not provably) false position
it's simply not useful to think about these things, the really interesting questions aren't found in what basically amounts to looking at paint on the walls of reality with a magnifying glass

Probably, but debatable. They could have died between making their posts and you making yours (or me reading yours, depending on how I consider the validity of your sentence; e. g.: if I say "it is 2020", will this sentence be considered false if read in 2021?).

It's pretty simple, actually. You're actually doing the exact thing you're accusing everybody else of: misinterpreting the numbers to validate your point. There's actually a much easier way to come to the conclusion of humans being mortal: look at the oldest human. Considering so many have lived, were it possible for a human to reach age 200 surely it would have happened at least once by now, right? There have been an enormous number of trials and not one of them has shown to reach 200. We can make a very sound induction that it is not possible for a human to live past 200, let alone forever (at least for now, future tech might change that).

But just like you said, tech can improve until then and I can actually live to 200, then 2000, then forever.
Also, how is considering all available data misrepresenting it to fit my theory? Shouldn't we always consider all data? If 93% of plants were green and I said "all plants are green, those 7% who aren't doesn't count, because they'll turn green eventually" it would sound ridiculous!
