Online mathematics tests when the website doesn't support TeX or something.
You're required to submit answers like
3^(a+d) or surd(5)
The software has a sad if it's slightly wrong.
Takes 1-2mins extra to reformat, lecturer doesn't account for that and makes it shorter anyway.
Loose 15% on my test because I ran out of time to submit an answer I knew was right because I had to reformat it. In a written test I would have got that question right.
I literally can't get a 4.0 GPA because of this now

I've gotten away with not using the webcam on my laptop so far. They literally cannot force me to allow strangers to look into my room. If they tried I would simply contact the necessary offices at my university and file a complaint
