>>12132483 Your most likely correct. I guess the issue is a moral conundrum. Do you clone your child at birth... so that there is an extra body with organs to use incase of organ failure in the future.
And keeping that body on life support the entire time for just in case.. probably wouldn't be cheap... and if you let it live a normal life... and the main person gets heart failure... does the clone have to automatically give up life for them to live on? This may be why human cloning isn't legal.
I guess the real issue is just making full sized cloned organs with out having to wait for cloned child to fully grow up. Or the need to fully clone a person. Just cloning specific organs.
