Venus microbes

How would we collect and examine microbe samples in Venus?

Would we just take pictures and beam the data back or would we physically collect them then launch the probe back to earth somehow?

Assuming we could collect and bring Venusian microbes to earth, we would have no real way of culturing them easily. People have a hard enough time culturing terrestrial bacteria as it is, a microbe suited to survival on Venus would likely require growth conditions non-existent on earth and non-trivial to replicate in the lab.

Mainstream science is still largely ignorant of magnetobiology and bioelectromagnetics, so if the organism is fine tuned to Venus' magnetic field and the spectral character of its surface, they may fail to recreate all the conditions required for growth. Here on Earth organisms are negatively affected by blocking out the Schumann resonances, or canceling out the geomagnetic field.

Maybe they could send a probe into Venus's orbit, said probe would drop down a smaller floaty probe to analyze the presumably life-bearing layer of the atmosphere, while the bigger one takes high quality pictures from orbit?

If the paper is true about the organism turning into a spore when it reaches the lower cloud layers, then that's where we should try to collect samples. Since the spores would be located in a very small region of the cloud layer and they would be significantly larger than the rest of the atmospheric particles, you could easily filter for only spore sized particles in that region of the atmosphere. A major problem is that the organism might not be very common on Venus, so getting a sample might take alot of luck.
