I can't imagine a life more dehumanizing that being told that you were born out of a tube.
Child growth starts at conceptual - the child and the mother shares a connection. Whatever the mother feels, so does the child. Not to mention that the baby in the womb also responds to every stimulus outside.
The only reason to have this is due to severe medical reasons and even then, this should be a last resort.
