It's totally incapable of adapting. It has no clue about the emotional content of what you write unless you're outright hostile. It has no memory; I asked it an outright question, which it totally ignored. Then I called it out for ignoring what I askedl; it 'apologized', but had no idea what it was I said previously. Shortly after that I just bailed. Utter garbage. Cleverbot is at least amusingly bad, this was just sadly clueless.

It's entertaining, to be sure. But it's not real AI. Instead of building an AI from the ground up (i.e. having human brain processes like schemas and real memory), they're just trying to brute force a statistic machine into coming up with something to say that makes sense.
