What kind of an ROI is there for doing it some retardedly hard way with a super caustic atmosphere that requires clockwork ceramics to try and sift through a crust thats just several miles of nothing but worthless basalt.
On top of that, anything leaving venus is going to be expensive because you have to escape from deeper in the sun's gravity well.
There is no good reason to ever bother with colonizing venus. There's nothing there you can't get cheaper and easier in the rest of the solar system except for air pressure in the upper atmosphere being at earth normal, but still not fit for you to walk around in without oxygen and a protective suit.
