Which programming language should I learn to get into the AI, and robotics field?

Hello, I'm a highschool student planning to get into robotics and/or AI field in the future, unfortunately though I do not know anything about it, so I'd really appreciate it if you could tell me what programming languages I should get into that would help me in the future.
would really appreciate it.

ML by far is easiest for normies like you to strap up via Python (the de facto glue for literally any project that you want to build in 5mins).

Robotics? Any language that is actually relevant. C.

You may try C++ or Rust but those are jokes.

Machine learning? Python seems to be used with using libraries and shit. Robotics? Depends on the robotics. Some robot in a factory that is hooked up to a 4Ghz 86x processor? Probably any language you want might be python. Some space craft that has a robotic arm running off of a 20Mhz processor with 16k of ram? Probably C. Even for more powerful industrial processors like they use in the new X2 aircraft that lockheed are making that are like 2Ghz they still use C with some proprietary kernel.

Learn math, get good at it, pick any random language, get good in it, and leave this site forever while you're still young.

It literally doesn't matter.
You should be able to write your ideas in English and or prove that it's going to work first (mathematics).
Implement it on excel if you really want to.

Learning programming should be an after thought.

No one has addressed the hardware side yet so I'll just go ahead and recommend the Arduino meme. Seriously though it's a great entry point. Dead simple to piece anything robotics related together via SparkFun breakout boards and arduino. Once you get comfortable you'll naturally start digging into the schematics and components and start building more custom stuff. Have fun hardware is better than doing ML Udemy meme nanodegrees topkek
