I'm a engineering student taking calc 1. I constantly find myself forgetting basic algebra that I did in High school. That's probably made worse by me taking a year off.
Usually the way I have done math is looking up how to do a problem on my homework and just copying the procedure. Then I would forget it.
But calc 1 is getting too much, the home work is insane and I'm falling behind.
I've heard people on here talking about how math used to be taught in a more holistic way and you'd be given a deeper understanding of math. Does anyone have any good books or videos on the matter
Also I only know English so I can't read some math book written in latin or whatever
Thx
