Granddad owned a pathology or something in his youth before moving to a ruralish hippie area and going off the deep-end into quackdom, becoming an alternative medicine/science quack who has his own theory of gravity, says vaccines are poison, tap water is poison, climate change is real but not caused by the reasons other scientists say etc. Last I heard he owns an alternative medicine shop, he's had a pseudo-cult going for years and has 8+ children with 4+ women. I have aunts younger than me.
One uncle went on to do post-grad, I'm not sure how far he actually got, I know he dropped out of his research because he was studying neurovirology he claimed studying diseases made him feel depressed (and he got a job in software development paying significantly more than he would ever get in science) but I think he still got a master's by research because of how far along he was. He made lodsemone in development before having a total breakdown and becoming a homeless hermit then getting arrested for petty crimes where prison pyschs started contacting the rest of my family expressing concern about his mental state (little did they realise how insane the rest of my family is).
The other uncle I have never met and is quite distant from me. What I know about him comes from a news article about him wanting to live a quiet hermit life but getting enraged at truck drivers driving past his has and sperging out at them culminating in a a stabbing attack severely injuring the truck driver, after which he stabbed himself and because his injuries were more serious the rescue chopper took him to the hospital instead of the truck driver (ultimate cucking). He was at least technology inclined and worked on game dev, I'm not sure if he studied science but I feel like I have distant memories of him being at uni in a different state when I first inquired about who he was after discovering I had another uncle.
