How much physics do engineers actually do? I would love to study math (maybe not at the hardest level) but I'm not great at physics.

I'm a microwave engineer and I don't use that much physics, I just have to be aware of some critical concepts when designing but if you're an antenna engineer then you'll do a fuck tonne of physics.

In terms of what you learn, quite a bit. In general it's all classical physics and the modern part of physics is left to physics majors. Ex. Mechs will learn statics, dynamics, fluids, solids, thermo among others.
