I'm going to start a diy antigravity collaboration thread. Should I do it here or on /x?

This will be viewed as pseudoscience bullshit by the majority of /sci amigos, but on the off chance there are a few of you who are not mind controlled by academia; then it would be better to do it here because you already understand what voltage is. More people on /x would believe it is possible and want to collaborate, but I doubt they could contribute. I mean they could summon the demon spirits to give up their secrets, but I'm not exactly counting on it.

What do you think bros?

But about the only way I could see it possible. Isn't so much anti gravity. But the ability to make the bottom surface of the craft to push against the atoms below it regardless of the element. While also pulling on the atoms on the top of it's surface simultaneously. So it would be similar to appearing to be anti gravity.. but in reality it works on a push pull method using atoms.

But I doubt a machine that might be able to do that would be strong enough to lift it's self off the ground.

The (pseudo?)science of eletrogravitics asserts that the antigravity force does not push on atoms, but pushes on the aether. The theory is in direct conflict with Newton's law number I forget: action without equal opposite reaction. But if the antigravity phenomena pushes the aether, then this would just expand Newton's Law

This is some weird guy saying he made magitech but never commercializing it or even filming it competently in 40 years. Its not exactly DARPA leaks.

The only mildly interesting antigravity work is from woodward and mcculloch, who are both having their ideas tested independently. This is just stupid.

Yeah my thought was definitely psuedo science. That's why I said. I didn't have the degree to say yes it is possible. But just the only way I could grasp the ideal of "antigravity". Since you and i if we shook hands we agreed we "touched" but in reality we just got really close.. and our atoms pushed against one another. It is just basic science that was taught in my school. Like if you touch the surface of your desk.. that the atoms in the desk and your hand are pushing away from each other..

So like dragon ball z.. how they fly isn't so much a super natural gift but them manipulating the atoms around their body to simulate a flying/thrust dynamic.

Or in one piece when the straw hat pirates are drifting cp-9. And cn-p is able to "fly" away buy kicking against the air. It is not some new concept or anything. It is just a hypothetical.

I try to refrain from using theory/theoretical.. since thearums are proven.

But yes I believe it might break newton's law... thus improbable.

Made an anti gravity device, but unfortunately it took off never to be seen again.
Next time i will chain it down to the shop floor,
it consists of four counter rotating flywheels on control arms spinning at high speeds.
mercury spinning in a torroid with a high magnetic field works more efficient but i don't want to deal with mercury.

first order approximation of gravity is mM/r^2. For electrostatics it’s qQ/r^. This looks similar, alright. But what we see is that every massive body attracts all other massive bodies and that one charge attracts the other charge while repelling the same one.
If we assume every body is charged, we would see this in orbits.
Let’s say the sun is positive. Because the planets are bound they have to be negative. But we see that Jupiter pulls on other planets, disturbing their orbits. No pushing.
Secondly, we see in experiments that accelerated charges lose energy. This would imply that planets would already have fallen into the sun, or at least are in the process of it. We don’t see that.
3rd, there is a neat experiment where you can see gravity. It’s called cavendish experiment. It works despite bringing the weights in contact first to remove any charge differences.
This leaves higher order approximation, or multipoles. they are of order of maximum 1/r^4. At the relevant scales and with separation of atoms and electrons as cause, this is negligible as seen by experiment.

Im imagining 4 1/2" aluminum discs, 2 ft diameter, all sharing the same axis. space between discs kept to a minimum.
