i don't have an exact match on the norwood scale, but basically i was naturally a norwood vi by mid-20s. 3 years ago, started minoxidil and dutasteride. helped a lot, but still have a huge bald spot in back. once corona is over, i will be traveling to europe to have transplant surgery. what i am trying to say is that if you have enough patience + money, you can treat baldness pretty well. not cure it, but treat it. the meds take a while to work, but they do. top transplant docs can work miracles, but they have long waiting lists, and charge $$$

Doubt it. Unless you have hair transplant scars or a ridiculously misshapen head, it’s like 1:50 guys that actually look “bad” bald. I’m willing to bet it’s more you worrying about how people will react to a sudden change (they won’t care after 5 minutes), or you have a hard time reformulating your self image to include being bald.
