Alright so I'm doing some research on Second Harmonic Generation and as I'm learning about this topic they are continuously referring to "Inversion symmetry". I tried researching definitions for it and it's mostly just people responding on sites like qurora or whatever. If someone could just explain inversion symmetry to my pea brain I'd really appreciate that. Also if you know anything about Centrosymmetry, that'd be hot.
