Now I use the Cornell method and use it properly. Really helps with retention and useful to read back.

ipad pro + apple pencil for homework and zoom, notebook and g2 pilot pen for irl classes. ipad is especially nice for homework because you can erase whatever you need and resize or move text if you need, also just save as pdf and submit. i got mine on a discount though so maybe cheaper tablet options are available
