the doctor came in, and literally fucking laughed in my face and told me to go buy ibuprofen. i told him i was in immense amount of pain and really just wanted the swelling to subside, not even a clean up. he laughed some more and told me to go buy ibuprofen. i told him i didnt have any money. he then told me it was only $9 at the pharmacy. i kept trying to explain to him i didnt have any money and if he wasnt going to give me a perscription then he just told me to fuck off and kept it moving. they had me wait 14 hours in the bed and i had to walk 15 miles back home.
i ended up getting a bundle of dope and going to my parents house and sleeping it off for a week. it healed on its own but only because i'm a young man.
i had a friend with hiv have a cold for 3 days, she also had lime disease so the cold was life threatening at this point. she needed a zpack. she went to the er and explained the situation. same shit, they came in smiles and laughter... i'm not fucking joking... and told her to just go home and sleep it off.
i had another friend about 30 who had a weak immune system with a deeply rooted infection at the cuticle of her big tonail. they didn't drain it, they told her to go home and sleep it off and that it'll fall off on its own.
