Most consumers, environmentalists, and climate change activists don't even know about this. Palm oil industries are responsible for most of deforestations in Southeast Asia, because oil palm trees only lasts for two cycles after which the lands will be no longer suitable for their growth and more lands should be cleared to continue their production.
