Is it possible to generate a truly random out come? I would assume a coin toss, but could you build a mechanical machine to flip a coin and it be truly random?

No, QM does not have a "secret underlying determinism" and if you think it does you are a coping retard who doesn't understand QM and why it can not be deterministic. MWI is metaphysics cope and doesn't cut it btw.

thats also a good point. I guess for me and my post I mean an outcome with no intelligent influence. as in in no human/animal influence. Maybe I need to better understand what Random outcome really really means.

This all has very little to do with the mathematical definition of random, which is a great source of confusion for people.

I use random.org to get numbers for use in games. It has an algorithm that generates numbers based on atmospheric noise. Is that really random? Tough to answer. It's definitely random with respect to the game - the number is not going to be influenced by whether it's the pretend elf's go or the pretend dwarf's go.
But is it perfectly random in the sense that every possible outcome is equiprobable? Fuck knows, but it's good enough. Pic related compares an image generated by their system (left) with one done by a pseudo-random generator written in php.

Actually there's a paper published last week in Nature that seemingly proves you're wrong. I've been trying to get someone to explain this to me but this board is full of pseuds who can't help.
