Schizoids are "true loners" (not lonely, HUEG difference) in sense that they lack interest in others, which may manifest in avoidance/communication issues but is at the core a strong disinterest in people. Autists may still seek social company and such. However someone can be both a schizoid and autist as the same time, which makes it interesting.
