Is it possible for a human to adapt to longer sleep/wake cycles?
Example, I know polyphasic sleep cycles as a concept exists, and it has been studies at least a little bit, which is sleeping many times a day in short increments.
But is it possible to adapt to a point you could (without fighting exhaustion) stay awake 48 hours and sleep for 16?
