I had a fucked up dream/nightmare and it got me wondering about incest genetic combinations.
A male born from a mother and her son would have a chance of being a clone right? Potentially the same X gene and the same Y gene? But a daughter could end up with two copies of the same X gene? In this case a daughter from a son and mother combo would be at the highest risk of defects?
A father and daughter pairing producing a daughter could also end up with two copies of the same X gene, both from the fathers side orignially yeah? But if it turns out its two different X genes, that could end up a clone of the daughter right? As itd have the fathers X gene and her X gene from her mother, which ends up the same combination as her
But a father daughter pair producing a son could have an X and a Y both originally from the father, and end up a clone of the father?
Or simply Y from father and mothers side X from the daughter, and would be the same as mother and father having a son, so no increased risk of defects?
