Could a multiverse be like a film reel and each frame is a different universe and it appears like time is passing in one universe to an observer?

Right now, man, a multiverse could be like anything you could possibly conceive. Why? Because there has never been a single shred of proof, subtle or otherwise, for the existence of one. Therefore, at this point everything about it (including its existence) is conjecture.
