Yes I am trying to be as careful as possible, even at the exact wording:
So, #1 a "transformation" is something that transforms other things, correct?
And #2, can actually be "transformed" as the object of transformation, for example under the change of the bases? So we encode certain information in the tensor, and that information can change as the result of the change of the basis, correct?
Thats the distinction between #1 and #2?
At this point it is not even about math it is almost about ambiguities in the wording (object vs subject), that also adds to the confusion!
Such as: I transform (transition from male to female).
Or I transform (other people, since I am a surgeon).
