Scientifically speaking, how could we determine if these shitty threads are just the result of the quality of posts naturally getting worse or whether their an attack on the intellectual integrity of /sci/ by bad actors ?

I'm asking because I'm seeing the exact same threads pop up on other boards (not including the cesspit that is /pol/). I've personally never bought the whole russian bot thing but this thing is kind of suspicious. Pic related, if they're bots they're probably CCP bots
