>>12105056>heroic dosesdefine heroic. I see a lot of people calling anything over 300 heroic when 300 micrograms seems a bit low. I consider heroic to hover right around 1mg (0.8 - 1.2mg are typical "eat a strip" doses), and I've known people who have done such things and emerged no more brain-damaged than they already were. Nobody does proper thumbprints anymore (probably a good thing) and generally I think unless you're making it or associate with someone who makes it, you'd be hard-pressed to "accidentally" take a harmful dose. If you eat half a sheet that's on you, you would/should know better. Very rarely do you see high-dosed tabs anymore, even when people get from "family" connections or something similar your average retailer is going to do a methanol soak and thus dilute it by (typically) 50% - sad state of affairs. I've never had issues with RC's but I've heard unpleasant stories. People seem to get all worried about "taking too much acid" but when I ask them they're usually afraid to do more than 2 tabs, max. Since most tabs are under-dosed anymore this really is a non-issue. "Too much acid" usually comes from days and days on end of tripping, someone buys a sheet with the intention of tripping for 1-2 weeks straight, etc. Sure, at that point your brain gets a bit weird. Personally, only adverse effects I've known is mild HPPD, which came from not getting sleep for a couple days after a trip combined with microdosing, which is why I recommend against microdosing for newbs and also against starting a trip late at night cuz it's tough sleeping on the comedown, especially during the day. I really think most of people's problem with acid is simply reading too much into it and believing their own bullshit "spiritual" stuff.
