Being suspicious is not a sufficient predicate for launching the Crossfire Hurricane operation. Sufficient predicate consists of suspicion AND cause. Suspicion is 100% subjective. Cause is at least kind of objective, supposedly. If you can't even bullshit your way into a little bit of cause, there is no sufficient predicate at all, even remotely.

Don't change habits. I have friends who never accuse who always accuse someone else when they are impostor. Also try to calm down, people get to jittery and it affects typing with more typos are your voice gets fucked and you stutter more when you stress.

i think their point was that you can induce and subsequently manipulate bias to your advantage to avoid someone's suspicion. The idea being their bias towards you positively and towards someone else negatively

Still, could they do it ? (I never played so i wouldn't know for sure).
I would find it strange if nothing had been implemented to stop that strategy from working. For instance a time limit to complete all the missions.

Yes, players actually have different tasks from each other.

Anyway has anyone thought about the predictive programming implications of this game yet? I mean these Mafia-likes have always been popular but I kinda feel it’s exploded recently, this particular version going viral being a landmark - maybe there are impostors in the real world as well.

Or maybe we’re going back to Cold War thinking lol

I have a friend who cheers loudest for the crew when he's an imposter.

I have another friend who is more talkative when he's the imposter.

The key is to make sure your patterns are the same whether you are crew or imposter. If you were town, you wouldn't be killing people, you'd be doing tasks. The game gives you a list of "fake tasks" as imposter so why don't you just follow it and kill people when you cross paths?
