>>12101646There's some evidence that the intelligence of Ashkenazim varies from that of Western Europeans and East Asians. The latter are good at laser-honing in on minute trivia, whereas the former are really good at maintaining cohesive narratives. Part of this comes from the superior Western/Eastern visio-spatial abilities, and the superior Ashkenazi linguistic abilities. To put it another way, Ashkenazim excel at writing, whereas Western Europeans and Asians excel at painting and sculpture.
If we look at the contribution of Ashkenazim to science, it's almost entirely in the realm of physics, where some Jewish guy synthesizes the mathematical and theoretical works of numerous other gentiles into one coherent theory. This is essentially Einstein's life's work. Compare, say, Feynman to Dirac. The former synthesized coherent theories, the latter made dozens of random and sort of unrelated discoveries all just kind of lumped together.
