Ok let me bring a new theory to light.

Lets talk about drugs for a moment. We all know they cause brain damage. Say for instance, somebody does meth, but in a controlled amount and not abusing it like crazy for say, 6 weeks. It causes some mild seratonin syndrome.

The dose is doubled every two weeks. For the sake of neuron damage, lets say they quit the quality meth cold turkey after 6 weeks.

The muscles in your body are built by being somewhat damaged and then repairing to become stronger. Do neurons work in the same way? I notice when I interact with drug addicts, as long as they're not completely shot out, they actually mimick the high of the drug when they've been sober for a year or two and their minds have had time to heal (I go to aa/na meetings). Its as if their neural pathways were damaged, but not deteriorated, and then repaired themselves but stronger.

What are your thoughts on this.
