That's why there are so many different models of the universe beside the standard cosmological/Big Bang model. All of them suffer from the "if all you have is a hammer then everything looks like a nail" mentality. The different models are a better representation of the proponent's field of expertise than a non-bias assessment of the nature of the universe. In reality, the universe may be too complex for any one field of study to encompass.
