It is a vague term. Different authors may mean different things by AC. Download the book and look at the contents. It could combine elements of real analysis, linear algebra, vector spaces, vector calculus, differential calculus, etc. But most likely it will be closer to real analysis. So the main prerequisite is basic calculus, and maybe also elementary linear algebra.
