Is studying chemistry for a hobby a realistic goal? Is setting up a home laboratory really possible without major hassle from authorities? I don't really want to get raided or have to fill out a ton of paperwork to keep everything legit. I thought computational chemistry might be a suitable hobby to pursue. I thought a shared lab space might be an option, but I can't find any near me.
