Schizophrenia doesn't make you literally experience the divine forces of infinite understanding and truth. There are exactly 0 people who have broken through on DMT and still naively assume the universe is about chemistry and math. This isn't an explanation, but is more of a deflection or a deferral of the question. While that's the scientific "how" and many people are satisfied with that, most people who do psychedelics also want the philosophical "why," or "what does this mean."
So you're still left with the question of what it means on a philosophical level that one molecule, like LSD, or DMT, or psilocybin, can fundamentally change your perception of reality in such a profound way. It's one thing to say that reality being perceived in this or that way is caused by such and such molecules doing this and that, but it's something very different to realise that you can think and experience things you previously thought were impossible through just one small piece of paper no bigger than your smallest fingernail.
To experience an impossible thought, and mental liberation beyond what you'd even thought was possible has more philosophical implications than scientific ones, and most of the questions you would naturally want to ask about your life after a psychedelic experience are almost impossible to address scientifically at this stage.

Read Kant, Engels, Locke, etc., and then you can use philosphy to explore the profound beauty of the mind, but you should never let it be a sole informer -- it would be like looking through a microscope and rejecting macro reality as an illusion. You need to think of things through multiple lenses.

I just remembered it wasn't actually DMT it was psilocybin. Yeah the flat one but the Nazi's used both. When I close my eyes I saw the very typical visuals which were moving but when I really focused and studied what I was seeing it looked like some kind of creature staring straight back at me. Upon opening my eyes I saw the swastikas everywhere again. I pick my own mushrooms and cap them cause aussie and they grow pretty much everywhere during the season which only just ended. I was taking 10g at a time.

On the positive side, I quit a 20 cig per day habit after eating 30g of mushroom over 3 days.
