Anon in the other thread convinced me that my CS degree is for brainlets. What’s the best route out? I’ve got one more year for my BSc in CS (I’m getting older, 23 now)

Finish ur degree, the longer you spend outside real life work, the longer it will take u to get ur life back on track. Take it from a 30+ with 2 degrees, if u have a choice (i didnt), u rather finish ur CS degree.

Right, finish ur degree and get a masters in computational mathematics if u wish; either way, work experience is worth more honestly...if u postpone finishing ur degree because u think it is not worth it, u risk not finishing. And if u dont like a Math/Physics degree as much, u risk quitting mid-way. Either way, you only hear 'good news everyone', have in mind that it is statistically possible that u make all the right choices and still finish on an Uber or McDonalds (the odds r not that bad actually). So be realistic and if u wanna help others, we should vote universal income at least; I got lucky but I know a brilliant homeless dude, it could be anyone really.

I thought I'd never be good in my field because job market was tough so I decided to go onto another. Now graduated in another crisis and hopefully I can capitalize on my part time experiences.
