Most young Africans live in relatively industrialized urban areas. I find the 'they just don't report' theory hard to believe when they were able to track Ebola pretty well.

Low amounts of air conditioned buildings for the virus to spread through the vents, high levels of solar irridance to destroy the virus and get vitamin D, relatively sparse (somewhat) population distribution, fewer hospitals to act as a reservoir, ect. There are many reasons.

nobody is doing that for covid because it's all over the fucking continent, so it's up to african nations themselves to keep track and most of them have abysmal healthcare coverage and ability even in the best of times

I mean if you had the ability to track that sure, but most of africa doesn't have any sort of widespread death reporting system and the best you can get is some census data every 10 or 20 years when they decide to do another one

Even if you believe in official data about coronavirus, it targets ~80 years old anyway. Africa barely has old people, so of course they will have little deaths.

What's wrong with their point? Age and organ transplant are the only two co-morbidities that increase risk of death from COVID-19 greater than obesity. It's more of a risk factor than diabetes, renal disease, cardiovascular disease, pulmonary disease, asthma, and cancer.

Simply being overweight doesn't seem to increase risk much, it's being obese or morbidly obese that drives up the risk, but that's still 40% of the USA.

Young people survive thanks to having no underlying diseases but are left with a glass lung. Next time they do have an underlying condition and then it will be curtains. That will happen around April.

I'm pretty sure it's because they push out 6 kids and we only 1.5.

This means 100 great grand parents, 75 grand parents, 56 parents, 42 kids in the west.
And for africa 100 great grand parents, 300 grand parents, 900 parents, 2700 kids.
