How the fuck is this fair? It's basically punishing you for not getting to a top school. The chance of a guy from state school ever succeeding is made lower.

Let's be real. The Ivies exist to create the elite class of America, and any education one receives from an Ivy league education is purely coincidental.

People from state schools, on the other hand, actually have to do stuff. They need to learn, and this needed rigor is reflected in the grade deflation.
