Thanks for the replies
>>12088984>NuclearYeah I guess this one is pretty obvious huh. With petroleum engineering on the way down, even if slowly?
Interesting, but I don't wanna end up like that Japanese guy, Ouchi...
>AerospaceHonestly never been a space guy, just not that interested, we should fix our earth here first instead of fucking about on planets where we can't even breathe and tolerate the temps by default. I can objectively appreciate the marvel of rockets and satelites, but just nto into it myself. Also seems very elite, I'm clever but I'm not a genius.
>ChemicalThis makes sense too, I guess will keep on producing stuff. Is it growing especially or it'll just stay stable? Is a large part of it making plastics n shit. Will that reduce in the future? In some small areas of society you see a cutdown on plastics in some areas (no more disposable supermarkets bags, some don't even offer reusable plastic ones now, ponly paper, same with mini bags in the fruit and veg aisles) - but I can't see plastics being phased out in anything else desu, it's just too damn useful.
>ComputerI also am not terribly into computers, coding/programming. Also because it got memed so heavily, isn't every Tom Dick and Harry going into it? Aren't there way too many coders or wannabe coders already? I feel like it's massively oversubscribed.
>>12090350elaborate pls. I was thinking Electircal engineering. What are job opportunities like right now? And will it go up? Stay stable? Go down?
>MechanicalOne type of mechanical, Automotive, also seems cool to me, basically designing cars, right? How many jobs are there for that? Seems there are only a few car companies in the world. Wouldnt that be really narrowing my chances? Job availability is my main concern.
>>12090353I'm not too into building and structural shit. Doesnt that step on architects' toes anyway? Water engineering is cool, for waterworks and sewage etc. But how many jobs are there really for it? Seems v specialized.
