In fact, many computer scientists pick up math that most math students can't handle. Last week I had a chat with a computer scientist who applied functional analysis to computer vision problems. He schooled me on this shit and I've been using it for years to work on non-linear elasticity problems.
The insane irony of this board is they don't realise that the bad CS students don't represent CS - they represent the school. Screaming about how shitty CS is and how dumb CS students are is really just announcing that you go to a shitty school.
