I want to study Biotech or something related and was planing to transfer to NYU or Columbia next semester, but considering the political situation of academia, and price of course... One of my friends transferred to Sophia university in Japan, and he says that everyone speaks English (although he speaks fluent jap) so he's encouraging me to go (I know 0 jap) and says tuition is around 4k or so. Theres also this friend who's transferring to Sweden from Germany because she says Germany is a shithole right now, but I'm not sure Sweden will be any better... she says as long as you pursue a research-based degree your tuition is free. I guess bottom line is:
